About the Role

 

Triumph Enterprises is seeking a Cloud Security Subject Matter Expert to join a contract supporting a federal client with an important mission.

The client has many subordinate organizations.  These organizations are somewhat independent, but are required to comply with directives from OMB, NIST, FedRAMP, departmental directives, etc.  The client does not yet have a mature cloud security program, but the subordinate organizations are implementing and using cloud services.  In this role, you would be part of a crucial team in the organization responsible for guiding and overseeing (as necessary) compliant and secure implementations of cloud services across the enterprise.

 

The position will report to the manager of the Assessments and Authorizations team, but is expected to be transferred by reorganization to the Security Architecture team in the next several months.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, track/monitor, and support compliant cloud initiatives across the enterprise
  • Provide leadership for compliant implementation of cloud related services for the enterprise
  • Communicate/clarify/educate on applicable security requirements to those implementing cloud related services and solutions
  • Verify compliant implementation of cloud services
  • Facilitate and participate in various cloud related Continuous Monitoring and Annual Review sessions, implementation groups, and working groups.
  • Gather and relay threat information related to cloud systems and technologies
  • Produce required reporting for various management levels

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Cloud technologies and services
  • Knowledge and experience with FedRAMP and/or the NIST Risk Management Framework
  • Knowledge and experience with applicable portions of NIST SP 800, FISMA, and FIPS publications
  • Ability to monitor, guide and/or provide expert consultation for a portfolio of cloud related implementations across the enterprise
  • Strong customer service skills and a team player mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud-related security certifications
  • Project management experience
  • PMP certification
  • Security architecture knowledge, skills, and/or experience

 

Note: What the position is NOT

 

  • The role does not recommend or assist constituents in selecting cloud service providers
  • The role does not design or architect solutions for the constituents
  • The role does not provide leadership for the development of a Cloud Computing strategy for the enterprise (i.e. the role is for Cloud Security, not Cloud)
