We currently have a need for a dynamic individual to serve in the position of TEAM LEAD Working under the supervision of the director and is responsible for leading teams on specific projects and ensuring the delivery of outstanding project work to respective clients. 


By providing coaching, leadership and developmental support to Team Members the TEAM LEAD helps ensure that high quality deliverables are provided to the client on time and on budget.  


  • Direct client support to the Branch Manager for the day-to-day execution of operations and management and oversight of five (5) member support team
  • Manage client expectations and deadlines, ensure tasks are within contract scope
  • Organizing Branch Manager’s schedule, work efforts, and communicating all risks, issues, and statuses within the federal team.
  • Responding to urgent data calls by leveraging the support team and various reporting mechanisms.
  • Proactively identify issues and gaps, provide recommendations on resolution
    • Anticipating and defining business and technical needs of the client
  • Serving as a senior-level analytical correspondent within the engagement team.
  • Communicate regularly with team members, spread across different work locations, to ensure high-quality deliverables and task completion on-time
    • Facilitate communications with other support teams for collaboration and information sharing on behalf of the client
  • Create and submit regular risk/issue/completion status reports to leadership
  • Manage team bandwidth and verify task completion.
  • Contribute to quick turn-around white paper responses for the program
  • Develop leadership/management skills and mentor support team members
  • Lead completion of high-level projects, delegating tasks as appropriate
  • Direct management of CSPL leadership group (4 individuals) in their duties of managing the larger Triumph team (12 individuals) across various task orders, ensuring team is consistently delivering on commitments and demonstrating a sense of urgency in response to clients' needs/requests
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with contract leadership including the prime and other subcontractor senior leadership and task order managers
  • Management of all Triumph personnel actions including personnel file management, hiring/interviewing and corrective measures (performance improvement, termination, etc.)
    • Performance-assessments, goal-setting, and merit increase procedure
  • Encourage, recognize, and promote the accomplishments of team members; mentor and coach team members for personal development and growth
  • Contract administration – contract and modification document review, comments and management; contract funding management and reporting; equipment track
  • Ensure team members adhere to federal labor laws, corporate policies, security procedures and financial reporting regulations (including time, travel and ODC)
  • Monthly PMR development and presentation to Triumph senior leadership
  • Collaborating and communicating effectively with Triumph senior leadership and corporate stakeholders; responding to Triumph data calls in a timely manner
  • Proactively identify opportunities for growth (organic and new business), and encourage the team in identifying gaps in existing support scope
  • Attend Triumph business and social functions, and contributes to making Triumph functions productive; encourage other team members’ participation in meetings and Triumph events


Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Communications, Economics, or related discipline
  • Minimum of five (5) years consulting and/or directly relevant experience and/or educational training in related fields
  • Moderate skill level with basic MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), familiarity with MS Project and Access preferred
  • Experience as a federal contractor, experience supporting DHS or TSA preferred
  • Experience leading similarly sized teams to successful project execution
  • Ability to adapt behavior and to develop and maintain relationships with people from varied backgrounds, specifically dealing with difficult clients
  • Ability to adapt leadership style to a variety of situations in a way that will influence, motivate and challenge others.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral--must be able to express information and make convincing arguments to groups and individuals effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information.
  • Proven experience working with customers to proactively assess and understand needs, recommend path forward, options, or resolutions, and manage and satisfy expectations.
  • Willingness to support the team in the minor tasks during times of surge (meeting facilitation, documenting minutes, developing presentations, etc.)
  • Ability to create dashboards and other visuals for presentation to senior leaders
