    Triumph Enterprises is seeking a Business/Engineering Consultant.

    • Directly support the Engineering Branch of the Checked Baggage Technologies Division of the Acquisition Program Management (APM) Office by maintaining day-to-day interaction with lead engineers and technology managers in ensuring their needs are supported in the continuous improvement of existing security screening equipment and the strategic acquisition of emerging technologies
    • Form strong client relationships and developing clear, error-free deliverables
    • Support clients in tracking key technical initiatives including cost and schedule
    • Develop and provide reports, roadmaps, and updates related to technical initiatives
    • Participate in multiple technical and programmatic meetings including Program Management Reviews (PMR), Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM), and Preliminary and Critical Design Review (PDR/CDR)
    • Support responses to various data calls related to technical activities such as the number of systems deployed at various configurations
    • Develop and interpret data visualizations from complex data sets and demonstrate ability to explain the meaning of these reports to a non-technical audience
    • Prepare and revise appropriate documentation for clients including industry engagement documents such as Statements of Work, Requests for Proposals, and supporting acquisitions documents (Quality Management Plan, Functional Requirement Documents, etc.)
    • Develop and maintain documentation to support presentations to Senior Leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and organized communication
    • Conduct data analysis, establish baseline requirements and cost estimates, track project status and schedules
    • Coordinate and collaborate with other stakeholders relating to Client project management
    • Help identify the scope and objectives of project engagements including analyzing the impact of capability changes on the operational efficiency, security effectiveness, industry vitality, cost, and passenger experience of TSA’s checked baggage systems

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • Minimum of 1 year in the consulting field or other related work experience.
      • Preferred - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
    • Experience as a federal contractor
      • Preferred - Experience supporting DHS or TSA
    • Ability to obtain public trust or a clearance
    • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) and SharePoint, familiarity with MS Access preferred
    • Ability to understand technical projects and provide information to various non-technical and technical stakeholders
    • Ability to view and understand interdependencies among various projects
    • Ability to adapt behavior or work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles – must be able to deal with ambiguity.
    • Ability to develop and maintain client and team relationships
    • Ability to organize work, set priorities, and determine resource requirements as it relates to determining short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them, coordinating with other parts of the organization to accomplish goals and monitoring progress and evaluating outcomes
    • Proven experience working with customers to proactively assess and understand needs, recommend path forward, options, or resolutions, and manage and satisfy expectations
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must be able to express information and make convincing arguments to groups and individuals effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information.
    • Demonstrated ability to automate reporting/analyses to deliver efficiency and provide the client resources with data to help drive strategic decisions



    • Experience with requirements documentation with the Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) such as operational and functional requirements documents (ORD/FRD)
    • Understanding of contracting documents, such as the AD-102 and DOD 5000
    • Familiarity with government cybersecurity rules and regulations, such as FISMA and FITARA
