    The successful candidate will work directly with our client and support team members to:

    • Collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the client.
    • Define the nature and extent of problems.
    • Analyze relevant data, which may include annual revenues, employment, or expenditures. Interview managers and employees while observing their operations.
    • Develop solutions to problems. In the course of preparing recommendations, understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with other agencies, and its internal organization and culture.
    • Prepare and solve mathematical models.
    • Report findings and recommendations to the team and client.
    • Assist in the review and analysis of detailed program specifications, and in program design to meet changes in work processes.
    • Work independently under overall objectives and direction, apprising the supervisor about progress and unusual complications and modifying and adapting precedent solutions and proven approaches.
    • Ensure that the appropriate standards, processes and documentation are established within the initiative.
    • Proactively identify project issues and risks, and work with the project team for timely resolutions.
    • May function as team leader or supervise a few lower level programmers or technicians on assigned work.

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • Minimum of 10 or more years’ experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis. Significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.
    • Bachelor’s level degree in a business or technical field.
    • Experience with highly visible government initiatives.
    • Strong IT experience on a Federal contract.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Project
    • Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment.
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to effectively communicate solutions.
    • Strong customer service focus to meet the needs of internal and external customers.
    • Professional, pleasant, and polished demeanor.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
    • Strong eye for small details that make a difference.
    • History of ethical performance.
    • Strong management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills against difficult due dates and timelines.
    • Strong written and verbal skills to effectively communicate at all levels in government and industry.

    Desired Elements

    • Active DoD Secret Clearance preferred.
    • Proposal development experience
    • Knowledge of Federal contract vehicles
    • Experience with government contracting firms supporting the Federal government.
