    Triumph is seeking a Security/Privacy Analyst to support a project for our government client. The qualified candidate will support the creation and reviews of Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) and Privacy Threshold Analysis (PTA) artifacts, along with tracking actions and progress to completion, to ensure a system is properly configured to maintain patient information and comply with client privacy and security policies.


    The successful candidate will work directly with the Client and support team members to:

    • Prepare Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and Privacy Threshold Analysis (PTA) documents in accordance with current Department of Transportation templates and guidelines.
    • Collaborate and interface with project stakeholders, including end users, OIT organizations, and implementation partners.
    • Track status of multiple ongoing PTA and PIAs simultaneously Recommend and implement changes to PIA/PTA process templates, processes, training, and support material based on periodic federal guidance changes.
    • Develop and maintain lessons learned, FAQ, SOP, and training support documents for the PIA/PTA review process.
    • Maintain, format, and input system status records for compliance reporting.
    • Provide weekly status reports to the client, communicating status of PIAs/PTAs currently under review.
    • Develop and build excellent relationships with prospects, clients, and internal team members.
    • Lead client calls and communications including the development of presentations, status reports, and requirements documents.
    • Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment.

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • BA/BS Degree (advanced degree preferred) and minimum of 6 years’ experience providing with performing privacy compliance activities to include PIAs, PTAs, and SORNs.
    • Hands on experience drafting PIAs an PTAs for federal government entities
    • Familiarity with PIA and PTA templates
    • Good familiarity with privacy laws and regulations applicable to Federal systems.
    • Familiarity with PII reduction/elimination initiatives.
    • Two (2) years or more of strong knowledge of the FOIA and Privacy Act.
    • Two (2) years or more of experience reviewing records for disclosure for FOIA and Privacy Act request.
    • Two (2) years or more of experience processing FOIA requests using automation, such as eDiscovery tools.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Comfortable with navigating system data models and with performing security categorizations on the underlying data elements.
    • Familiarity with NIST and OMB guidance materials as they relate to VA privacy
    • Experience working with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI).
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Project.
    • Excellent command of English language in speaking and writing.
    • Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment.
    • History of ethical performance.
    • Exhibit considerable client delivery, business development, and proposal development experience.
    • Strong management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills against difficult due dates and timelines.
    • Strong written and verbal skills to effectively communicate at all levels in government and industry.

    Desired Elements

    • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Project
    • Proposal development experience
    • Knowledge of Federal contract vehicles
    • Presentation skills
    • Experience with government contracting firms supporting the Federal government.
