    Triumph Enterprises is currently looking for an Information System Security Manager to join a technical team on a contract with a federal government client with an important mission. In this role, you will oversee and manage the information security program implementation within the organization or other area of responsibility. Manage strategy, personnel, infrastructure, policy enforcement, emergency planning, security awareness, and/or other resources. This position will be responsible for acquiring and managing the necessary resources, including leadership support, financial resources, and key security personnel, to support information technology (IT) security goals, and reduce overall organizational risk.

    Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will work directly with our government client and support team members to:

    • Advise appropriate senior leadership or Authorizing Official of changes affecting the ISSM’s assigned systems cybersecurity posture.
    • Collect and maintain data needed to meet system cybersecurity reporting.
    • Ensure that cybersecurity inspections, test, and reviews are coordinated for the ISSM’s assigned systems network environment.
    • Ensure that cybersecurity requirements are integrated into the continuity planning for assigned subject systems/ship hulls.
    • Evaluate and approve development efforts to ensure that system baseline security safeguards are appropriately installed.
    • Evaluate cost benefit, economic, and risk analysis in decision making process.
    • Participate in an information security risk assessment during the Security Assessment and Authorization process.
    • Participate in the development or modification of the systems’ computer environment cybersecurity program plans and requirements.
    • Prepare, distribute, and maintain plans, instructions, guidance, and standard operating procedures concerning the security of network system(s) operations.
    • Provide system related input on cybersecurity requirements to be included in statements of work and other appropriate procurement documents.
    • Recommend resource allocations required to securely operate and maintain a system’s cybersecurity requirements.
    • Identify security requirements specific to an information technology (IT) system in all phases of the System Life Cycle.
    • Ensure plans of actions and milestones or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, inspections, etc.
    • Support necessary compliance activities (e.g., Ensure system security configuration guidelines are followed. Compliance monitoring occurs).
    • Participate in the acquisition process as necessary, following appropriate supply chain risk management practices.
    • Acquire and manage the necessary resources, including leadership support, financial resources, and key security personnel, to support information technology (IT) security goals and objectives, and reduce overall assigned systems’ risk.
    • Acquire necessary resources, including financial resources, to conduct an effective continuity of operations program for assigned systems.
    • Advise senior management on risk levels and security posture for assigned systems.
    • Advise senior management on cost/benefit analysis of information security programs, policies, processes, systems, and elements for assigned systems.
    • Communicate the value of information technology (IT) security throughout all levels of the organization stakeholders for assigned systems.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish the enterprise continuity of operations program, strategy, and mission assurance for assigned systems.
    • Take a problem or initiative, analyze options, and successfully implement the initiative.
    • Responsible for developing and communicating strategy and associated documents and templates for our client; Promote client organization and its targeted mission, objectives, and key messaging in a consistent manner.
    • Ensure that the appropriate standards, processes and documentation are established within the initiative.
    • May provide functional direction to lower level assistants on assigned work.
    • Prepare program communications and documentation including executive briefings, talking points, program milestones, weekly reports, etc.
    • Proactively identify issues and risks, and work with the team for timely resolutions.
    • Leverage best practices, techniques, and tools for quality control, project planning, execution, project management, ongoing milestone tracking, communication, and key performance metrics
    • Develop and build excellent relationships with prospects, clients, and internal team members.
    • Lead client calls and communications including the development of presentations, status reports, and requirements documents.
    • Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment.
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to effectively communicate solutions.

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • Bachelor’s level degree from an ABET accredited university.
    • Validated 3-5 years specialized entry level experience in Specialty Area 72 (Information System Security Management)
    • Exceptionally self-motivated, directed, and detail oriented.
    • Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint).
    • Excellent command of English language in speaking and writing.
    • Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment.
    • History of ethical performance.
    • Exhibit considerable client delivery, business development, and proposal development experience.
    • Strong management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills against difficult due dates and timelines.
    • Strong written and verbal skills to effectively communicate at all levels in government and industry.
