    Triumph Enterprises is currently looking for an Engineer to join a technical team on a contract with a federal government client with an important mission. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team while serving a fulfilling mission. Engineers apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems. Their work is the link between perceived social needs and commercial applications. This position may design products, machinery, implement improved ways to extract, process, and use raw materials, such as petroleum and natural gas, develop new materials that both improve the performance of products and take advantage of advances in technology. Engineers analyze the impact of the products they develop or the systems they design on the environment and on the people using them. In addition to design and development, many work in testing, production, or maintenance by supervising production in factories, determining the causes of breakdowns, and the testing of manufactured products to maintain quality. They also estimate the time and cost to complete projects.


    The successful candidate will work directly with our government client and support team members to:

    • Provide lifecycle support following the NSWCPD System Engineering Process (SEP) with applicable Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) standards and specifications.
    • Assess new and already existing technologies in order to meet detailed requirements. Provide input to hardware team to develop requirements and desired functionality of the HM&E Cybersecurity System hardware components.
    • Integrate/implement new technologies within existing HM&E Control System Cybersecurity hardware architectures. Includes assembly of components, sub-components, and interface connections to achieve full hardware architectures.
    • Have an understanding of networked and Internet Protocol (IP) based systems and have knowledge of network protocols including Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), User Datagram Protocol (UDP), and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) for system architectural modification or design.
    • Develop Interface Control Documentation (ICD) to provide record of interface information (drawings, diagrams, tables, and textual information) for new and existing HM&E Control System Cybersecurity hardware architectures.
    • Develop Technical Documentation (Technical Manuals, Operating Instructions, Maintenance Instructions, Material List) to provide record for technical information required to support the HM&E Cybersecurity System hardware lifecycle.
    • Develop hardware unit tests in order to demonstrate that modified hardware components satisfy requirements.
    • Develop hardware change packages and artifacts, and present changes at peer reviews.
    • Maintain technical hardware awareness in order to contribute to new hardware development efforts.
    • Prepare program communications and documentation including executive briefings, talking points, program milestones, weekly reports, etc.
    • Proactively identify issues and risks, and work with the team for timely resolutions.
    • Leverage best practices, techniques, and tools for quality control, project planning, execution, project management, ongoing milestone tracking, communication, and key performance metrics
    • Develop and build excellent relationships with prospects, clients, and internal team members.
    • Lead client calls and communications including the development of presentations, status reports, and requirements documents.
    • Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment.

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • Bachelor’s level degree in an engineering discipline.
    • Exceptionally self-motivated, directed, and detail oriented.
    • Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint).
    • Excellent command of English language in speaking and writing.
    • Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment.
    • History of ethical performance.
    • Exhibit considerable client delivery, business development, and proposal development experience.
    • Strong management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills against difficult due dates and timelines.
    • Strong written and verbal skills to effectively communicate at all levels in government and industry.
