    Triumph Enterprises is currently looking for a Configuration Management Specialist to join a technical team on a contract with a federal government client with an important mission. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team while serving a fulfilling mission. The Configuration Management Specialist shall be responsible for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management. This individual shall also work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products though out the entire life cycle and will provide change management and product configuration management guidance.

    Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will work directly with our government client and support team members to:

    • Implement and maintain proper configuration management of equipment, software, hardware, and documentation using processes compliant with CMMi Level 3 and the Program’s SEP documentation.
    • Implement configuration version control practices and processes (check-in/check-out, version number control, system/software baselines, merge, build, testing, and release) to software, hardware, requirements, firmware, images, technical manuals, test procedures, and support/design documentation.
    • Provide configuration version control using locally established forms, templates, databases, and applications such as GIT, Telelogic, DOORS, Sharepoint, Excel, Word, Access, and Project.
    • Provide system load and configuration verification support in accordance with specific ship configuration package and written test procedures.
    • Prepare program communications and documentation including executive briefings, talking points, program milestones, weekly reports, etc.
    • Proactively identify issues and risks, and work with the team for timely resolutions.
    • Leverage best practices, techniques, and tools for quality control, project planning, execution, project management, ongoing milestone tracking, communication, and key performance metrics
    • Develop and build excellent relationships with prospects, clients, and internal team members.
    • Lead client calls and communications including the development of presentations, status reports, and requirements documents.
    • Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment.
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to effectively communicate solutions.
    • Ability to take direction and achieve quality results, independently strive for personal excellence when completing tasks.

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • Bachelor’s level degree in any field.
    • Seven (7) years of professional experience in configuration management.
    • Exceptionally self-motivated, directed, and detail oriented.
    • Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint).
    • Excellent command of English language in speaking and writing.
    • Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment.
    • History of ethical performance.
    • Exhibit considerable client delivery, business development, and proposal development experience.
    • Strong management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills against difficult due dates and timelines.
    • Strong written and verbal skills to effectively communicate at all levels in government and industry.
